The adoption of DevOps has dramatically changed how organizations in the software industry collaborate to plan, build, and deliver technology. However, the methodologies and structures adopted remain highly fragmented across different workflows.

This paper presents an extensive exploratory empirical study using the Grounded Theory method. The goal is to identify profiles, categories, and the social dynamics of DevOps team structures in companies and government.
